Hi there
The interview on Lactate threshold testing was fantastic. I know all this stuff about the importance of the long slow run but when it comes down to my training I always figure that doing my run 10 mins faster than planned is a positive thing. Neal really got the message across to me and I\\\'ve turned over a new leaf of painfully slow training sessions - I know it makes sense!

We are much alike Stu! I push really hard all the time. I too get really fired up about triathlons and...your podcasts. In a marathon, I usually run too fast at the beginning and fade towards the end. It really does make a difference to take the first mile or two slower!! Now I need to learn this on a bike. I seem to push hard every time! The new workout program I will be doing Jan 1 says to ride in the low gear for the entire ride. This may be too easy, but I need to build my endurance and ride smart!
Best of luck Jan 1st!!
